The median number of outpatient visits (for any reason) for PTSD patients in the military health system, according to a recent RAND Corporation study -- Quality of Care for PTSD and Depression in the Military Health System: Phase I Report.  According to a research brief based on the report, the median number of outpatient visits (for any reason) for depression patients is 30.

The percentage of Veterans who do not have Internet access, according to a recent report by the RAND Corporation -- Resources and Capabilities of the Department of Veterans Affairs to Provide Timely and Accessible Care to Veterans. This population -- which skews older -- cannot take advantage of VA digital services such as the My HealtheVet portal or VA Telehealth. However, the report points out, " As younger Veterans age, Internet access and technological skill are likely to grow more common among Veterans, thereby increasing the acceptability and accessibility of digital health care services."
